01 — About Me
My name is Ben Breternitz. I am an entrepreneur, musician, and former actor. I was born in a small town in central Germany, moved to Cologne when I was about a year old, and grew up around art and music. I started playing drums at three. Over the years, that turned into producing beats, playing piano, and eventually founding my own music label.
As a teenager, I got into acting, with a role in the German movie Teufelskicker and several TV productions. Acting taught me a lot about presence and expression, but what I really care about is making music, building businesses, and traveling the world. Every path I've taken in business has led me back to music, as an art and as a business.
Alongside music, I ran a custom fashion and sneaker project: I cut up original LV bags to build one-of-a-kind sneakers and turned LV dust bags into clothing pieces. The project got a lot of attention and led to collaborations with major influencers across Germany.
In 2022, I moved to Dubai. The city’s energy and international community made it the right base for my music label, which specializes in instrumental background music. Traveling keeps me sharp: one week I'm catching waves in Bali, the next I'm back in Dubai working on the label.
Today, I mostly split my time between Dubai, Bali, and Miami. Each place shapes how I work and live in its own way.
